Our mission

The name KRonENBERG stands for many years worldwide for reliabilty and sustainability in the production of components for the lift industry. Quality and long-term customer satisfaction are our leading principles. The customer is in the focus of our daily work and we thus strive for growth and crisis-proof jobs.
People and markets are constantly changing. We consider change as an opportunity to continuously develop our company and our products with great flexibility.

Facts & figures

In Bergisch Gladbach near Cologne more than 60 employees produce more than 1.000 different products on a production area of more than 5.560 sqm that are exported to nearly 30 different countries. The export share amounts to more than 60%. KRonENBERG is constantly developing new products and holds many patents.

History

The company has been established in 1932 by the brothers Hans and Josef Kronenberg in Cologne-Nippes. With the limit switch HJK1 the first contacts were produced in part time production there. Since 1958 we have been exporting our products abroad, starting with France and the Netherlands – further countries followed very soon.
KRonENBERG has developed into an international company with more than 20 distributors worldwide.

Sustainability

Our company decisions are long-term orientated. Due to their reliabilty and durability our products stand for safety, long-term customer satisfaction and lasting supplier-customer relationships. We create durable products that are reliable in use for decades and already meet future requirements. The continuous optimization of our production processes and the use of a modern machine park contribute, amongst others, to the conservation of resources.

Social Commitment

Social engagement has grown steadily with our corporate development and is an integral part of our mission statement.

We support both regional and national projects, among other pojects of sport and help people who are not doing well for various reasons.
